Select Captive Bred is the result of two friends, Nate Oswald and Donn Stroud, seeking to produce the best and brightest captive bred specimens available. We are not a large operation by any means, so availability is small and limited in quantity. The animals available are the result of successful pairing of animals within our individual collections. Almost all of the animals offered for sale are captive bred here in Southeast Michigan. However, we are always expanding our interests and adding new blood lines.

We do not wholesale our animals! All animals are captive bred and we do not partake in the sale of wild-caught animals. All animals are guaranteed healthy and are accurately represented in pictures and description.

We strive to remain reasonable and competitive in our pricing. This is not the sole income for either of us and probably never will be. This is a method for us to share the success of our keeping and breeding of these fascinating creatures and maybe to break even and fund new projects.
